and hopefully you got a chance to enjoy it yesterday. >> things could be changing. the mid section is getting hammered. >> you are right. seek what's going on. but you know what, we have got video in from indianapolis. our sister station. i want to show you this because they have video of downed trees and snapped power liens across the area and all of it is courtesy of the system across the middle the nation right now. you can see the heavy rain coming neigh cross the area. it will continue through the morning hours and reports of trees into houses and telephonepoles blobbing fire trucks as well. this line of showers and thunderstorms will continue to push into our area as we go through the rest of today. you can see underneath the yellows and the greens here. some reds and pinks. these are tornado watches and warnings across the area. this line will continue to slide in as we go through the rest of today. as it comes towards us, we have the potential for some gusty winds across the area as well

megan, the harbaugh brothers will hold a joint news conference to talk about what it means to be facing each other come superbowl sunday. >> that's going to be fun. thanks. there's a family in harford county that made a video about the rains and it's going viral on youtube. linda so is at the bank right now. tell us what the song is all about. >> reporter: well, the song is called ravens are fight he is and the family put it together in honor of the team and the trip to the superbowl. they posted it to youtube last week and it's going viral and it received more than 30,000 hits. here it is. 12 minutes after 5. thanks for joining thus wednesday morning. some victims of super storm sandy are suing the long island power authority. they believe the electric provider could prevented the fires that spread to the homes that night of the storm. 17 families in the breezy point community say sandy may have caused flooding and the wind.

however the power company caused the fires that ruined their homes. they are suing for at least a million dollars each. and they say that the company could have saved their homes if they had followed company protocol and turned off the electricity to the neighborhood. >> everything in the house is gone. everything. you know. we found nothing. when we turned the corner to my area, it was like somebody set off an atom bomb and it was awful. >> the plaintiffs say another utility company they shut down the power before the height of the storm. and if long island power company had done the same thing, all of them would only be facing flood and wind damage. the weather conditions that brought on massive flooding in australia seemed to have a rather lighter side effect. the storm winds churned up the seas near the sunshine coast causing masses of sea foam to wash up on the beaches. looks like they are playing in the giant bubble bath but this is the set.
